When I first entered law school, I thought that passing the bar was a euphemism that meant that when it was all over you could go into a bar and get any girl you wanted. Turns out, it’s some sort of test. @ Ha!

This was one of my writing teacher/guru’s FAVORITE phrases. I still remember it when I’m writing a paper or a brief and I think I have a really great section that I just LOVE–but know it has to go because it disrupts the organization or is only peripherally related to the actual subject.
